Associated Fees

Psychotherapy and consultation are billed on an hourly basis. Assessments fees are determined by individualized assessment plans and are dependent upon the extent of services necessary - rather than billed by the hour. All fees are discussed at the initial consultation.

We do not work directly with insurance companies and are considered an "Out of Network Provider." However, upon your request, a "Superbill" can be provided for you to submit to insurance in order to request partial reimbursement.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy and psychological evaluation services. â€‹

Dr. Lyvers outlines the costs of evaluations in the initial consultation, as well as in the consent documents. For therapy, you can request a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
