Our collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming approach helps translate evaluation findings into practical supports that build executive functioning, emotional regulation, and confidence - so children can thrive at home, at school, and in their growing sense of self.
Dr. Marguery Lyvers is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (CA PSY25499) with expertise in the assessment of learning disorders, ADHD, and other neuropsychological and psychological/emotional conditions. Dr. Lyvers enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults to remove barriers to educational and personal success through individually tailored interventions and accommodations.

Her training and experience spans educational (private and public K-12, higher ed), forensic, private practice, hospital, and outpatient settings. Dr. Lyvers has extensive experience in consultation and outreach to educators, families, and other professionals. She was formerly the managing Executive Director of Integrated Learning Solutions, a multidisciplinary group of psychological and education professionals serving students with varying learning needs. A Pasadena native, Dr. Lyvers is invested in fostering the development of our young community members.​

Dr. Lyvers practices from a strengths-based, highly relational, and data-driven approach to assessments and therapy, alike. She blends neuropsychological expertise, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered (Rogerian) Therapy, and Systems therapies to offer uniquely-tailored supports to each client.

Elaine Chiu, LMFT, works with children, adolescents, and families following psychological and neuropsychological evaluations to translate assessment findings into meaningful, practical support. She helps children and teens understand their cognitive and emotional profiles in developmentally-appropriate, strengths-based ways that support self-esteem and confidence.
Elaine brings a wealth of experience to her role of a therapist, including school-based therapy with at-risk youth, community-based mental health, parent coaching, and supporting students in an elementary Mandarin dual-immersion program.

Elaine uses skill-building approaches to help children improve executive functioning, regulate emotions, and manage anxiety and mood-related concerns. Her collaborative approach is tailored to each child's needs and emphasizes practical strategies that feel manageable and meaningful. She partners closely with parents to ensure consistent support at home and school, reduce daily stress, and align expectations with each child's abilities. Elaine is committed to providing culturally responsive care and creating a compassionate, supportive therapeutic environment. She offers care in both English and Mandarin, with hybrid and in-person sessions available.
